This is a very small leafed Fern his has a unique appearance because of it's tiny highly fluted upright fronds. This smallest Boston fern variety that has bright rich green fern fronds form a dense mound in containers and in the garden. This plant with little leaves is great for shady miniature gardens and fairy gardens. It makes for a nice little houseplant and ideal for terrariums that appreciates even moisture in the soil - not too dry and not too wet. In its natural habitat, it grows as an epiphyte (a plant that grows on trees) in the warm, moist, tropical rain forests. Despite its tropical beginnings, it adapts excellently low light houseplant.
