Description
This vibrant, colorful succulent grows quickly and easily. It has a few peculiarities not shared by other succulents, such as an aversion to very hot, dry weather and the desire for a bit more water. It is a favorite among novices and experienced horticulturists alike for that very trait – its tricolor leaves. With a little bit of sun, these gorgeous succulents display leaves that start yellow and darken into green, the edges of the leaf bordered with pink or red.
A kaleidoscope of colours sets this drought tolerant Succulent apart from others. It forms handsome rosettes of fleshy leaves edged in fiery red and forms offsets freely.
Nice in rock gardens and in cactus and succulent gardens and borders, adding dazzling colour. Requires excellent drainage. Works great in containers where soil drainage and outdoor cultural conditions do not meet the plant's requirements. Makes an interesting house plant if grown in enough light and could be combined with succulents of similar cultural requirements in larger containers.
